Acoustic Guitar Collection
This is arguably one of THE best collection of acoustic guitar
samples I have heard with very clever use of velocity
switching that allows mute, harmonics, full tone and slides to
be played with nothing more than careful playing technique
and you can hear the results in the breathtaking audio demos
featured below.
The collection also includes a comprehensive number of
cleverly mapped chordal strums that can be used to create a
very convincing performance.
Several different guitars were sampled for the collection
including a 1955 Martin D-28, a Guild JF 30, a Taylor 410,
and a Silvertone nylon-string guitar all of which have been
beautifully and professionally recorded and meticulously
multi-sampled whilst still managing to be economical with
memory.

The unique twist in its tail, however, is that all the
orchestral textures have been created using analogue
synths thereby providing the lush sonic tapestries woven
by the likes of Isao Tomita, Larry Fast, Patrick Gleeson
and other early electronic music pioneers.
Contained in the SSS collection are strings, brass,
woodwinds, orchestral percussion and tuned percussion
plus some 'oriental' instruments. It also contains a
variety of pads and tempo-synced LFO sweeps and
atmospheric sounds that fill in 'the grey areas' of the
traditional orchestra's otherwise rigid pallette.
All sounds are meticulously multi-sampled for
maximum detail and many of the programs use velocity
switching for maximum expression. Pre-assembled
multis also ship with the collection allowing you to get
started with the minimum of effort.

Some of our sounds have been chosen by
sound-design legends Hollow Sun for use on the
Alesis Fusion Keyboard Workstation. Thanks to
Steve Howell (Hollow Sun) for some brilliant
tweaking on our Classic Elec Pianos.
The focus here at indiginus is on great sounding,
playable instruments- not on pre-performed
loops, although we do include some midi files
with some of the instruments.
We'll have more playing tips, like Fingerpicking
101 as time goes by.
We'll add to the download list soon, so please be
patient.
