Imitating guitar picking and fingerpicking styles isn't hard- once you know a few tricks:
First, two things guaranteed to make this or any other guitar library sound BAD:
1. Block chords. Guitar players can't play them.
2. Piano Technique. It will sound like a harpsichord.
For the most part, guitar picking and fingerpicking on a keyboard
means playing arpeggios (the notes of a chord played one at a time).
Below are the voicings of several common open position chords:
Here is an example of a simple fingerpicking pattern in G.

In this example, hit the F# hard enough to trigger the slide sample
(using one of the 'slide' programs). Also, play the last four
eight-notes lightly
to highlight the 'mute' samples.
